I help guide my mature clients through the many changes their bodies go through as they age to ensure a healthy future & staying mobile so that they can live independently as long as possible. I want to empower and educate them so that they may develop a lifetime of healthy habits. I approach health & fitness holistically since health is more than exercising & eating right. It involves physical health, mental health, stress management, environmental health, hormonal balance, occupational/financial health. Personal training sessions include core, balance and reactive training with an emphasis on functional movements, flexibility and addressing muscle imbalances. I encourage weekly wellness coaching sessions to address goal setting, behavior modification, and nutrition counseling/education. I work with clients in their home, locally in Phoenix, AZ and also by phone or online, using Skype. When I am not working I spend time with my husband and reading as many health, fitness, & wellness books as I can. I love learning how the human body works. I also write online about health & wellness. Of course, I also love to exercise, especially outdoors—hiking the mountains here in Phoenix or going out for a walk/jog. Other interests include singing, music and gardening.
